It's the event we've all been waiting for! Hyde’s annual gala - Hanvana Nights - returns on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 7-10pm at St. John's Episcopal Church across the street from the school.

Early bird tickets are $75 until prices increase to $100 per person. If you would like to increase your impact, consider getting your tickets as part of the sponsorship of the event.

Each ticket will include wine, beer, hors d'ouevres, desserts, a game of tombola, music, silent and live auctions and dancing. Please wear cocktail attire, and book a babysitter for the kids - this is an adults only event.

The primary goal of our gala is to raise funds to bridge the gap between the Hyde-Addison’s operating budget and the funds provided by DCPS, which amounts to nearly $100,000 this year. Through this event, we aim to further our mission to support the school in its efforts to inspire diverse learners who create positive, lasting change. Hyde-Addison Elementary School is one of the city’s only public elementary schools serving students from all eight wards and was recently ranked #1 among all DCPS and public charter schools in Washington, DC in the 2024 DC Schools Report Card.
